Welcome!

My name is Kate, and I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Biomolecular Engineering and Bioinformatics (BMEB) program at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

My advisors are David Haussler and Mircea Teodorescu, and I work in collaboration with multiple labs part of the Braingeneers project.

My research interests are connecting neural tissue to computers, closed-loop neuroscience, and biologically inspired machine learning algorithms.
